Consultancy Services for the project”Fabrication & Installation of Pipelines,Refurbishment of 10 nos. of tanks, and Installationof AlliedFacilities for the proposed developments to Tank Farm at Trincomalee”

Sealed Bids are hereby invited by the Chairman, Department Consultant Procurement Committee, on behalf of the Trinco Petroleum Terminals Ltd (TPTL) for the consultancy service “Fabrication & Installation of Pipelines, Refurbishment of 10 nos. of Oil Storage Tanks, and Installation of Allied Facilities for the proposed developments to Upper Tank Farm at China Bay, Trincomalee”.

Bidding documents can be obtained between 0900 hrs. and 1500 hrs. up to 03/04/2023 from the office of, Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) at 20th Floor, WEST Tower Colombo 01, on a written request and on payment of a non-refundable fee of LKR 5000.00 (Rs. 4348.00 + 15% VAT).

The Bid will be closed at 1400 hrs. on 24/04/2023 and opened at the Office of Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) at 20th Floor, WEST Tower Colombo 01, immediately after closing date and time of the Bid.  Bidders or their authorized representatives will be permitted to be present at the opening of the Bid.

Bids may be hand deliver to the above address or sent by e-mail to the address tptltenders@gmail.com  before the date and time of closing the Bid.

Bidders shall submit their Bids with the Bid Security amounting to Sri Lanka Rupees 1.2 million. If the Bid is submitted through e-mail, Original of the Bid Security should be submitted to the LIOC office before closing date and time of the Bid. The Bid Security shall be either a Bank Guarantee obtained from a reputed bank operating in Sri Lanka and in compliance with the Format given in the Bidding Document or a Cash Deposit made to Trinco Petroleum Terminals (Pvt) Ltd to the Account No. 0088340369 of Bank of Ceylon, Sri Lanka. Period of validity of the Bid Guarantee should be six (06) months from the date of closing the Bid.

 

Bidding Documents may be inspected at the Office of Project Manager, LIOC up to 1500 hrs. on 06/04/2023. The Bidding Document is also available in the website www.ceypetco.gov.lk [1] and www.lankaioc.com [2]for interested bidders. Bidders who download the Bid Document from the website also should pay the documentary charge of LKR 5000.00 to the Account Number given above and the Payment Receipt should be submitted with the Bid.

A Pre-bid meeting has been arranged at 10.00 hrs. on 03/04/2023 in the Premises of Dy. General Manager (Technical Services) which the address is given below.  Interested Bidders are requested to participate for this pre-bid meeting and inform the list of participants to TPTL atleast 24 hours before the time and date of the Pre-Bid meeting.
