Colombo Colts Cricket Club, one of Sri Lanka’s most historic and respected cricket institutions, proudly announces a strategic partnership with Lanka IOC PLC as the official sponsor for the forthcoming season — a significant step toward empowering the future of Sri Lankan cricket.
For generations, Colts has been at the forefront of developing national-level talent. The club boasts a remarkable legacy of producing some of the country’s finest cricketers, including modern-day icons Angelo Mathews, Dunith Wellalage, Dilshan Madushanka, Akila Dananjaya, and Dhananjaya Lakshan, alongside legends such as Chaminda Vaas, Romesh Kaluwitharana and Roy Dias.
This new partnership, powered by Lanka IOC’s flagship brand Servo Lubricants, will enhance the club’s capacity to support and develop players through increased resources and national-level exposure. Servo has been Sri Lanka’s most trusted lubricant brand for the past 19 years, and this collaboration signals a powerful union of performance, reliability and passion for cricket.
In his message, Colts President stated:
“On behalf of the Colombo Colts Cricket Club, I extend our sincere gratitude to Lanka IOC for coming on board as the official sponsor of our cricket team.
“We are proud to welcome Lanka IOC into the Colts family. Their longstanding commitment to the development of Sri Lankan cricket resonates deeply with our own mission — to nurture exceptional talent and produce athletes who are not only champions on the field but, also ambassadors of the sport off it.
“This partnership strengthens our capacity to support emerging cricketers, instilling in them the confidence, resources and exposure they need to reach national and international heights. Together, we aim to inspire excellence and uphold the rich legacy of Sri Lankan cricket.
“We look forward to a meaningful and enduring collaboration.”
