Compliant Marine Fuel Options
We supply Low Sulfur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) sulfur content less than 0.5%, fully compliant with the IMO 2020 global Sulfur cap regulations, thereby supporting ship operators in meeting international environmental standards. In addition, we supplies Low Sulfur Marine Gas Oil (LSMGO) with Sulfur content of 0.05% and Fuel Oil (IFO 380 CST) with a Sulfur content of 3.5%, ensuring compliance with emission requirements and operational flexibility for customers.
International Fuel Quality Standards
All Bunker Fuels supplies by Lanka IOC, strictly conform to ISO 8217:2017 for VLSFO and ISO 8217:2005 for MGO specifications, ensuring consistent Fuel quality, operational reliability, and optimal engine performance.
Safe and Efficient Fuel Delivery
Bunker Fuel deliveries are carried out at all Sri Lankan Ports through Bunker Barges and also Tank Trucks, enabling timely, safety, and efficient delivery operations. Additionally, we supply Bunker Fuel through a dedicated Pipeline system at Trincomalee Terminal ensuring safety and efficiency.
Independent Delivery Supervision
Each Bunker delivery is independently supervised by certified third-party surveyors to ensure transparency, accuracy of quantity, and adherence to agreed quality standards, providing customers with complete confidence in every transaction.
Flexible Bunkering Locations
Bunker Fuel supplies can be arranged within Port limits, at Anchorage, or at Out Port Limits (OPL), allowing Vessels to optimize turnaround time and operational efficiency, with its strong infrastructure, experienced operations team, and commitment to international standards.
Strategic Regional Bunkering Support

The Port of Colombo is Sri Lanka’s largest and busiest seaport and one of the most important maritime hubs in South Asian region. Located on the western coast of Sri Lanka and located along major east–west international shipping routes that connect Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. With its strategic position in the Indian Ocean, Colombo has become a major center for transshipment, logistics, and international trade.

The Port of Colombo is considered as one of the busiest transshipment ports in the world and large percentage of cargo handled at Colombo is transshipment cargo. The Port of Trincomalee is one of the most strategically important natural Harbors in the world and a major maritime asset of Sri Lanka. The harbor is often regarded as one of the finest natural deep-water Harbors in the world and is considered among the largest natural harbors globally.

Located on the northeastern coast of the island and the Port is renowned for its deep-water Harbor, natural protection, and strategic position in the Indian Ocean. The Port of Trincomalee is situated on a peninsula that divides the inner and outer harbors. Its natural formation provides excellent protection from storms and rough seas, making it one of the safest anchorages in the region. The Harbor is deep enough to accommodate large Naval & Commercial Vessels, including Oil Tankers and Cargo Ships.

The strategic location of the Port near major shipping lanes in the Indian Ocean gives it considerable geopolitical importance.

The Port of Hambantota is one of Sri Lanka’s newest and most strategically important seaports. Located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, the Port lies close to one of the busiest international Maritime routes in the world.
